Happy Valentines Day.

Wow, we had a wonderful January! I want to thank all of you for creating and playing your songs with us on Zoom for our Celebration of Song 2020 Song Contest Awards. You were wonderful! Your songs have been a light in the darkness of alone, lifting our spirits and connecting us like virtual hugs.  Also, thanks go out to our friends and family for being a part of our Facebook community. We are thankful for our songwriting community and the DSA Director of Showcases, Harry Hewlett for facilitating our educational and performance opportunities. 

A few changes this month: We've cancelled the Monday Meetup due to lack of participation. We may start it up again when we can go back to Half Price Books. We'll see. Also, we will hold our Hall of Fame virtual this year instead of skipping it. Harry says we can do it! So we are doing it via zoom.

As we begin the new year still in a state of stay at home, I want to thank you for creating and playing your songs with us on Zoom and being a part of our Facebook community. We've have grown the number of events we are producing monthly from 5 live events to at least 10 virtual events. Our Annual International Songwriting Contest is open with a deadline of Sept 30th. The contest which offers more than $5,000 in prizes with winners in 9 categories which includes the new category of Young Songwriters Song Contest for 18 and under. Monthly Events
