SONGWRITERS NOTES ISSUE #221 AUGUST 2020

Our Annual International Songwriting Contest is open with a deadline of Sept 30th. The contest which offers more than $5,000 in prizes with winners in 9 categories which includes the new category of Young Songwriters Song Contest for 18 and under. We've added a new category to our contest so spread the word to your young friends.

Monthly Events 

 The new “DSA Global” initiative is a way to connect the international music community to the Texas music scene. Live performances and camaraderie with fellow songwriters make up the soul of DSA. The DSA currently offers members 2 virtual workshops each month, 4 virtual showcases, 4 virtual open mics, plus a live open mic streamed to Facebook and other special events.Watch a live stream on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/dallassongwriters/
